update: when I try and checkout the laptop the description given is: Asus Vivo Book 11.6 Inch Value Touch Notebook

Are you guys buying this specifically for NAS or RAID setups? Would there be any issue if using it for normal desktop storage?

Aaah... yes.. indeed. Database issue then... pity.
And THAT model IS an i5... Takelot have the wrong laptop description and details under that price... and THAT price is for another laptop entirely as seen in the product info details.

Not database issue. Just sloppiness at point of capture. Human beings manually enter with cut and paste and you may notice the inconsistencies and the various templates they have used over the range.
I wondered if I could score a bargain with a FHD laptop at a decent price. I let it go as firstly that is not me, and secondly Google showed that the model was not released with that specs anyway so it would be an aggravation to challenge them. The lower spec machine would be shipped anyway as the one described did not exist.
