Go grab a second hand hd 7950/70 from carbonite for 2k and it will be faster.

I got my MSI FRZR IV R9 290x from Evetech for about R2.5k with shipping and the MSI gaming mat. Was a quick special they had running 
. Super beastly card, only complaint i have with it, is the fact it is able to hit about 95degrees comfortably. This increases the ambient temp of my rig 
. Have to manually set the fan speed on the cooler for it to come down. But it performs like a mother trucker

apparently it can, but the casing will be damaged and so will your warranty
Also read it has a 7year warranty in the states - is that applicable over here as well? couldnt find anything online....
