Hi All

Just a heads up that we had a data glitch on the title for that Belkin wireless adapter -- while its a dual-band N750 device, the 2.4GHz and 5GHz band don't run simultaneously so the maximum achievable speed is 450mbps (rather than the standard N750 speeds of 750Mbps (300Mbps + 450Mbps combining both bands))

Massive apologies for this and if anyone wants to make a change to their order, please feel free to drop me a PM and I will sort it out

I thought most routers work this way?
Please help me understand this.
Some devices connect at 5Mhz and others at 2.4mhz. 5mhz has a short range and unless you in the same room it's often hard to stay connected.

So I believed a single device cannot achieve speeds of 750 alone or am I wrong?

This is not a router just a dongle. A router can transmit on both frequencies while this dongle can only transmit only one a time.

But can any "client" device connect on both simultaneously? I've never seen that anyway... Sure your router will run both simultaneously but you're still limited to max of either 300 (different room) or 450 (newish device and same room).

If you're in the market for an entry level tablet: fairly good deal on a 3G Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite 7inch - R1899+vat at Esquire.

Will it work on an LG TV ?
Sorry but didn't visit the site , just being lazy honestly.

I have a mix of devices, some connect to 5ghz, others to 2.4ghz. My dlink dir855 does both simultaneously.

Has anyone's wireless dongle ship yet?

Mine has not been shipped yet.

We sent out an email this morning to everyone who had ordered regarding the error ref the speed and to confirm that we could go ahead and dispatch -- you're welcome to pop me a PM with your order number and I can follow up tomorrow morning and make sure that your order is dispatched ASAP

Highly unlikely according to my research -- most TVs will only work with specifically designed devices (original branded stuff or aftermarket devices that play nicely with the TVs integrated drives).

I just linked my Sony and Samsung tvs to cisco linksys wes610 bridges via ethernet to get benefits of wireless.
With peel smart remote on samsung galaxy s5 (any android with IR) its brilliant as I can control my tv and dstv .
Havent bothered with bluray players as I never use them .
