Retails for R1000+ everywhere else, although I do not understand why. They are going for like $44 on newegg at the moment?

Always do a price comparison with abroad before clicking the buy button. Many retailers don't bother to update
the pricing! They love f'g the consumer over..

Something new and better is available( Possibly old stock /End of Life- clearing out warehouse).

Next year you will pick em for probably R450

I don't see why you should net get a day out of the 2500mah battery ,unless it is really crappy one.

Crosses fingers. Hope it doesn't give endless issues like Z e s t! Since takealot are stocking the device I have faith in the product.

Looks like a good deal.

Found a review that said 1 1/2 days - that is decent.

Of course, finding a cover will probably be a ballache (havent checked Takealot yet) - why they don't just bundle them with a starter cover I don't know.

16GB USB 3.0 Samsung flash drive at Incredible Connection for R99.

I can highly recommend this USB 3.0 drive, I just copied a 600MB file from it to my SSD and it was so fast the copy dialog didn't even popup.

I can only imagine how fast you would be able to install Windows 10 from it onto a SSD.

If the read speeds are rated at 130MB/s then it took at LEAST 5 seconds to copy as the write speeds are never faster than the read speeds.

Why not get this Kingston USB3.0 16 GB drive including free courier for R77 when ordered via the mobile app:

I read reviews before buying and the Samsung is definitely faster than the Kingston, it copies from the disk to my SSD at 138MB/s but it has a faster burst speed when you start copying.

I tested a 1.4GB file and the copy dialogue just pops up and the last thing I saw was 380MB/s and then it's done.

Got an 8600, problem free, around 2 years now.
When does the trade-in deals end ?

Is this a good deal?

From the product codes and pics it looks like the 2015 model. Amazon price is $99 = R1260 so its about R200 more than a competitive USA price. Cheapest I can find in SA along with rebel tech.

the WD Elements 2.5" 2tb going for R1300 at dion wired and game, though i see they only have 12 month warranty.
