Despite the price apparently the batteries are rubbish and they aren't really worth it?

Yeah I got a dud. Haven't even sent it back. It's a very common problem apparently.

Have a different experience, mine has been charged once when I started and another odd occasion . I pick it up and use it with random devices and has been working for me. Since that original special have probably only charged it twice so it works for now.
