Yeah it's a great phone.

Same snapdragon 820 that's in most of last years flagship devices like the samsung S7, LG G5 and the oneplus 3.

Lot of roms and customisation available with the xiaomi.

That bidorbuy you linked to is terrible. It's R5999 at makro.

Still cheaper and makro don't have any specs on the phone. Makro also says 'end of range' ... that phone was only released last year if I'm not mistaken ?

Well there'll be a new version coming up soon, so it is end of range.

Edit: I see the Mi6 has already been announced beginning of May.

Awesome deal. Although, I've seen some bad reviews for the castor mouse. Great sensor, but the build quality seems to degrade really quickly, especially button feel. Not acceptable for a mouse they market based mainly on build quality.

Free shipping. Yeah custom duties/vat a given but really hope FedEx don't tag their customs service fees. Reading a bit more on reddit and apparently Tuesdays deal was spend $20 on anything and get a free pi3. Which basically broke their site.

Guess the deal may not last long.

Not only did I get free shipping for a $24.95 Raspberry Pi3, not only was it delivered duty paid (nothing to pay from MY side to customs, courier) but they messed up and sent me an notification about the item not being paid for and that they will exercise their right to collect.

Except :
Dear Valued Customer,

You may have recently received a Notice of Invoices Past Due from Arrow.com and/or Verical. Our billing system sent this notice out in error. Unfortunately, we did not accurately account for your recent PayPal payments or credits. We apologize for our mistake.

This account with Arrow.com and Verical is paid in full and you owe us nothing. To help make up for our error, we are sending you a free Raspberry Pi Zero W, the latest and most compact single board computer from the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

We will continue to update you with additional shipment details, including your tracking number. Your Raspberry Pi Zero W should arrive in 5-10 business days. Arrow will cover the costs of shipping, duties and taxes.

So awesome! Since the first deal I have been on their site daily looking for components to add to my cart. They sure found the best way to spend their marketing budget.

Is the SUHD models from Samsung equivalent to LG's Smart UHD?
And how does ULED from Hisense compare?

Do you have product models that you are comparing here, I know the major difference between the 2 are that the Samsung Supports HDR now upgraded to HDR+ and the LG will support Dolby Vision which Samsung does not.

Not yet, I am waiting for LG to release their 2017 models but it's taking forever.
I was thinking of getting this as I don't want a curved screen:

I was then thinking of comparing quality with a Hisense ULED M7000.

The HiSense on paper looks good but I personally wont go for it but that's just me. I would suggest have a look at all 3 TVs in person to decide. When I was shopping around I did look at the LG as well but the OLED is too pricey and the normal UHD LED backlit were not as bright as the Samsung. The 1000Nits Brightness actually does give the colour a lot of volume.

Have you checked here as well:

any good deals on hp micro servers? my media pc is giving up after 10 years service. and while I could probably fix it. I want to shop around for alternative.

old media pc was running plex and had a 450w power supply. so looking for something more energy efficient also since it is on 24/7.

thoughts? am I being stupid and should just fix the old machine? it won't boot and I am suspecting it is the ram. also it is running hot with a temp of 95 degrees at cpu. guessing the thermal paste needs replacement and probably clean the dust off heatsink.

Don't get the ProLiant MicroServer, it's old and slow, use the case you have now and buy new components.
