Hardware Bargains

:erm:I am asking from personal experience......

I understand, but if the first four results already tell you "yay" or "nay" -it should be pretty obvious. (Not that it does or doesn't...I didn't check because I'm not interested :D )

If after "researching" a little you're still not clear, then you could query people about personal experience...at least, that's how a problem should, logically, be tackled.
(You, literally, have the "world" at your finger tips ;) )

Suggestion:
It's usually better to do a little research before clogging up the "Hardware Bargains" thread with product questions -as can be seen by previous posts ;)
:)

It was on sale @Esquire last week, not sure it is still valid. I posted a link on this thread few days ago.

Chromecast 2 is significantly faster than 1. I assume the Ultra is faster than 2, even if you don't have a 4k tv.
Original Chromecast was slow. I don't think you will notice a difference with 1080p content on those.

With Ultra and 1080p TV you will have to control streaming quality. Streaming services may give you the best quality according to your device capability, not a screen.
