Well, you only paid R80 for 3, I feel sorry for the people who paid the full R100 for 1 before the clearance sale.

what a roller coaster of emotions, firstly i've been refreshing the page the whole morning and the one time i decide to step outside it comes in stock.
then i try placing the order from outside only to realize my card in in the office, cancel everything and try from the pc.

Then 3d secure somehow isn't enabled on my card anymore so i cant do a cc payment. log onto internet banking and it won't allow me to activate it there. after the 4th attempt retyping all my details on the checkout page i just did a EFT. had to call the bank to activate the damn card.

But i'm hoping i got it. the order was successful. Thanks for the heads up.

- No retail packaging
- Button mapping is incorrect, presumably this is hardware-level design flaw. (tested on multiple android devices)
Vol+ (short) = Rewind
Vol+ (long) = Volume up
Vol- (short) = Fast forward
Vol- (long) = Volume down
Only button which works correctly is middle "Dial" button
Dial = Call answer/Call disconnect & Play/Pause
- Battery life is mediocre (fully charged -> dead in +- 90mins)

Its a massive design flaw, and to add, I have a Redmi Note 5 Plus. While paired the settings on this phone does not recognise the headset as a Xiaomi product :D (thus the proprietary equaliser software does not work)

I'm only goign to use it for audiobooks and podcats (so is the wife), and the kids to listen to YT videos on their tablets since its always a battle when we're trying to watch TV.

Does it loose connection/crackle often though?

My R900 worth of LG bt with aptx were absolutely useless in that regard, I eventually threw them away, so if these can better the LG's 20cm range I'll be happy.

I can live with the mapping, I'm glad they implemented long/short press mapping, handy for audiobooks to be able to skip forward/back.

Sound quality on the MI BT earphones are loud and clear. I used Poweramp to test some Trance and EDM. Didn't experience much distortion at max volume.
