I used to regret coming to this site because I don't need anything but want them things .. now I get to regret things I missed too ..

I got one. :D Thanks to Satanboy alerting me (I was looking for a second hand one to replace my dodgy Nexus 7). Sold out in < 10 minutes.

Waited to get it to make sure it’s in good condition, turns out to be brand new sealed. Then got the silicon back cover at about R1,000 off from the iStore sale. Paid full price for the front smart cover though. All together just over R4,000. Normal price around R11,000 (though with 128 GB rather than 16 GB). Awesome deal.

I was totally there minutes after the email. Had the treasure in my cart, then experienced a logging in glitch, suddenly my treasure was gone and they were sold out :(

I was in such a hurry I checked out as a guest and I also I didn’t notice there was a gold and silver model. Just picked the first one I spotted which was gold. Not a fan of the colour. Luckily the back & front cover hides most of it. Got white back and charcoal black front, looks quite nice in a two tone colour.

Btw there are some mini 4’s for sale on Gumtree.

Have one already 5 years old. Now it has obsolete LEDs, poor light, not worth. A primitive charging electronics, you cannot leave it constantly on a charge as overheating and overcharging the battery.

The new MajorTech has surface mounted LEDs, much more efficient, has USB port you can charge your cellphone. I don't know about charging electronics though, my main objection.

This thread is for hardware bargains, meaning a good stuff at bargain prices, not an advertising place for obsolete stock. They should pay to you for recycling these old batteries. ;)

Yeh man, I hear you. I have a half decent ultralight one from duesouth and it worked for a while and It costs alot to replace the battery so these will serve my night-fishing needs for a year at least:D

all these sealed lead-acid lights are ***, this seems light the cheapest *** out there to serve your needs .

worth it for 90 bucks IMHO
