Hi,

I am looking for advice about setting up hardware firewalling.

What router is the one to use?

Somewhere on the web I saw there are happy users with the LinkSys router. Are there local suppliers or alternative affordable routers?

I dont know, but i like netgear better

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

[:D][:D][:D] Heehee - NOONE, you're obviously not old enough to remember when SA switched to its own currency! The answer is, there isn't any extra penny - at the time, the conversion was 2 cents to a penny, which is why the saying "my penny's worth" was colloquialised to "my 2c worth". Strangely enough, nobody says "2c for your thoughts" - I still hear people saying "penny for your thoughts", and occasionally "a buck for your thoughts"...

Cisco PIX all the way! :)

Enough of that noobishness... You cant beat a scrap 486 with some realtek cards and a copy of Smoothwall IMHO..
