I've been looking for an affordable (under R2k) 5G MiFi router that's unlocked for some time.
Takealot has a few "fake 5G" devices - those are 2.4/5Ghz WiFi on 4G Lte network MiFi devices.
I saw this device on AliExpress last week and placed an order on Monday ,11 August. To my surprise it was delivered to my door in JHB this afternoon, 19 August.
I was expecting 3 months via the post office, based on experience buying on AliExpress 2 years back.
I paid the seller R1293.38. It included free shipping.
Customs duty in SA was R464.30
Below are 2 speed tests on Vodacom, one on my laptop, one in my car.
i know it's soon, but I'm really happy with this purchase.
