MTN 5G not always better than LTE

I am quite surprised to find much better performance on MTN if I set my router to LTE only (vs 5G NSA mode)
This is using a Mobile Internet Gold contract sim on a ZTE MC801A router.
5G NSA speedtest:
Download: 114 Mbit/sec
Upload: 33 Mbit/sec
4G only speedtest:
Download: 272 Mbit/sec
Upload: 57 Mbit/sec

I noticed that carrier aggregation on 5G NSA mode was combining 1 x LTE band and 1 x 5G band (N41)
But on LTE only it was doing 4 CA:


The 5G signal was very similar, also around -95 dBm and SINR around 20 dB.
P.S. I recently tried out the Shesh600 service and was quite disappointed. I was hoping to get the same performance on LTE with this service.

All depends on how much transmission bandwidth is allocated to the tech, giving a factor like usage per site from users. LTE signals carries further and is the current norm, seeing as majority of the devices listed don't have 5G. This will all change when there is finally more of a demand for 5G services.
