Hardware in Joburg

Does anyone else find it ridiculously difficult to find reasonably priced PC hardware in Johannesburg?
In Port Elizabeth you go to Newton Park and you'll find 5 or 6 dealers willing to cut each others throats for your business. In Johannesburg you spend a frustrating morning trawling the web before eventually giving up and going to an Incredible Corruption branch.
Counter intuitive to say the least.

Pcint is dirt cheap....haven't had to deal with their after sales service though...which I hope I don't In any case.

Are you new here? JHB has some of the best hardware suppliers around. Unless of course youre looking for something that will give you newegg prices, I dunno if you'll find any here, doubt anyone has their prices anywhere else......
Good luck in finding your ideal supplier.

"technically" the last two are online shops. Only pcint is really a "physical" shop which not too many people know about.

EDIT: And zaps at waterfront(brightwater commons:rolleyes:) are also quite good.
 
Seriously, Jhb has so many more options than Ct...

& Stuffit Zenbaas.
Don't wanna hear it anymore :p
 
Just to clear things up here: I'm not looking for wholesale prices (just better than incredible corruption). Yes, I am new here and yes it does seem to me that PC shops here arent particularly interested in being found.

I'm not new to MyBB but it does seem that its been over run by a bunch of cliquey school kids in my absence.

Here's a tip: if you don't have the nad's to talk to someone in real life the way you do here then you're just a w@nker.

What are you specifically looking for..?

Exactly. I'm obviously not looking to wait for days for the thing. What do people here do when they need a piece of hardware like right now? Besides going to incredible corruption?

Quite a few shops can arrange pickup on the same day that payment is made(If made early enough). Pcint is prob your best bet though depending on what you want.
