Hardware rentals

Anyone have any experience in long term hardware rentals for a small business. Anyone used spartan?

What are your experiences like?

It is suitable for medium business and mostly for devices which need constant servicing like medium to large volume printers. For PC's it also makes sense in the environment where all user data is stored on servers (or backuped regularly), so when technician come, PC is just replaced. For small business it is not attractive at all. You need a smart technician and some spare parts, it is much cheaper.

We are a small software dev house.
So I am looking for the the most cost effective way to do teh following
1. Make sure my dev's are always using up to date laptops (no aging tech). In theory all code is on git, just pop on VS, GIT and away you go. Would like to replace every 2 years
2. Have shorter term rentals for demo/tradeshow presentation equipment
