Hardware sales falling on hard times

would have been good to find out what they doing to address the decline. specials, etc.

This might have something to do with our distributors charging a premium on some products... and also just being pretty rubbish in the service department.

There is also the fact that from a personal point of view, a new PC is a luxury.. and many of us can't afford luxuries anymore...

Our hardware division is growing hectic. Our poor sales staff are under siege. We need more employee`s. So I dont see this where I am. I see outdated models failing in our town, but if you have a good price and good service you should be fine.

I still would like to know when HDD prices will return to normal... Surely production has picked up again and stock levels are rising? currently still almost 2x the price they where....

Never. They saw that even with the crazy prices people still kept on buying drives like there's no tomorrow. So what reason do they have to lower prices again? Thanks guys, way to vote with your wallets there.
