Hardware tracking program

I am looking for a program that can detect CPU usage, ram usage etc, but record the usage at the same time in a graph type format..

i need it to try to see why my computer freezes, and want to see if i can pick something up that way by looking at cpu usage etc just before the freeze..

so far i have seen programs that show you your usage, but do not recored or track it..

goto Manage
click on performance logs
than counter logs
check properties of System_Overview
play around with that
works, have used it at work

Yep lol.
Part of Windows Management Console or MMC.
The performence/logs service should be running for it to work.
I disable a bunch of services to speed up my pc

so if i want to have this running while i am playing a game to track performance etc, do i have to leave the window open, or can i close it?

What i am trying to find out is if i have a problem with my network card, or something that interacts with the network card, cause i can play games fine offline, but my comp freezes after about 10-20 mins playing games online..

I don't see how recording performance stats is gonna help fix a freeze.

Have you tried getting new drivers for your gear?

i dont want it to fix the freeze, i want to find the cause of the freeze... the only thing i can think it could be now is something to do with network card / adsl connection, cause as i said in my other post, my comp only freezes playing online. I re-formatted re-installed and updated all the drivers i could find

Whats your Graphics card/ HDD temperature?
And how old and congested is the installation of your os?

XP, SP2... checked the temps already, ran pcmark05 and 3dmark06 with no problems.. difficult for me to take it in, cause i am on the west coast, an hour North of CT..
