Seems like i slipped up on this one though, the dealer says the status is 1200 and its too late to add anything to the car. I don't know if he is just saying this though as the expected delivery date is only in the week of 21/05 and actual production hasn't started yet..

Looking at my options now, there is an Alpine retrofit option that BMW installs after delivery. This is better than the standard system but not as good as the HK. Don't really want to go full custom again.

Don't fall for that trap, tell them to cancel the sale or install the Harmon Kardon.....

oh yes the chrysler is huge and needs the fold up mirrors basically anywhere you go

but for some garages you need them ...a e-class in a normal garage needs them

I am UK based so felt it was essential here. People tend to bump and scratch side mirrors a lot here and then just walk or drive away.
I always used to fold the mirrors on my G6 in SA, if anything it makes the car look so much neater when parked :)
 
Finally got my car and what a machine it is
The twin turbo makes acceleration effortless. Very glad i went for the HK sound, the bass, treble and clarity are top class for a factory fit. 1 negative is that there is no audio streaming without the iDrive option.
