...that every day the online gaming seems to get a little bit better? I mean we're still nowhere near the speeds we had during July, but it has improved considerably since the beginning of the month. Looks like they received a lot of complaints about their (*says with a hint of sarcasm*) "new and improved" port-shaping system

I can actually play Guild Wars again, albeit with a pretty terrible lag. Here's hoping it gets better soon!

I must say that my own P2P has also improved dramatically. It was near unusable at one point, but now I can get my full line speed on downloads again. Yay!

Nope, mine is still pathetically slow, actually no better than ISDN for download speeds, and gaming is only possible on local servers

from the 6th to the 24th it will be back to relatively normal speeds, then the 12day loop start again.

Clipse. This was not the normal beginning/end of month slow down. Something really changed. It has never been so bad before.

That said, my speeds has also picked up a bit, although I seem to have far more disconnects

yep combining the new high cap 30gig accounts with the normal start/end month slowdowns, it is a much bigger issue now and remain mostly throughout the month.

I often get so happy with my service... if telkom were'nt such utter bastards, I'd gladly sit with ADSL for the rest of my life. My speeds are good (only play on local servers), p2p runs well (30-40k) and I can do everything I need.
