Has everyone deserted iBurst?

Well been using Ibusrt for a month now and it suits me just fine.

The 1Gig goes like crazy (first day) then iam on dialup. At this stage iam sitting on 7Gig for the month all for R209 a month. I think its good value for money.

Connection probs was minimal during the month so iam happy. Torrents works good, not fast but I can dl something and for a change I dont mind about my uploads so I can seed alot. Most of my files comes from RS which dl @ 7-8Kbps.
 
@fishfly.. 6-7kbps sounds slow for someone getting 130 uncapped...

What download manager you using? I get 8-10kbps on avg.

RS downloads and torrents is on the throttled part. The first gig goes @ 80 to 120Kb/s. I always use my non-throttled for browsing ect (no Dl's).

I havent got a RS account so have to use RS free and FireFox's integrated downloader with RS files. Ive tried afew downloaders on RS free but never got it right.
 
Aren't there any RS type servers for free, or free news servers that I can connect to?
BTW is the iBurst representitive any good, he asked for my username so that he could sort out my degraded throupought?:eek:
 
Not that I know of. RS is the best and most used out there. It really is worth the €7 per/month and you can always have multiple connections i.e split it between 3 friends. R25/month....

MegaUpload, RS has a download limit, while MU does not :).

(RS may also get shut down as they're being prosecuted for copyright infrigement at present.))

With RS I'd hardly call this a limit as far as SA caps go::rolleyes:

"You are going to continue to be credited with 10 GB download traffic per day"

As for them been "shut down" I'll believe it when it happens.
