Nein. With WhatsApp down, everybody runs to their secondary option. Most people I know destroyed any trace of BBM on their phones, so they head straight to Facebook for messaging. I have never seen this many people online on FB at one time, hell even I'm only logged in to finish the convo's I already had going:erm:

I only use it to remain in contact with friends and family members, but yeah...


edit : people who use FB as communcations means will battle with this on their cellphones. FB is not exactly resource-friendly. It once cleaned out all my airtime and data bundles (luckily on prepaid)...

Whatsapp is not so resource-intensive as FB is.

Time to look for something different.

I moved to Threema after Facebook bought Whatsapp. No way that my messages will be 'screened' by Facebook.
