Has OpenWeb closed down?

Hey fanboy for over a year i had been getting the same account, every month on my CC with instant activation, so maybe you need glasses?. Anyway its not the fact of not getting the instant activation it was the customer service in getting it fixed. So take heed of your own advice

Why is it that the moment someone complains about Openweb, you get these idiots that come's out with responses like above?

What did you say that was valuable?

Secondly this thread is not about telling us all how great MR BEEP is, it's about the fact that there is NO customer service from Openweb, thus the question, did they close down?

And, what's glasses got to do with this?
 
Sorted out now. I wish it didnt have to come to this just to get an answer.....Anyway, thanks for the reply.

+1 for openweb. I just send Openweb one email and get a reply with everything sorted in under 2 or 3 hours :D

Bought into their founder's special for a tryout. Very happy up to now. Decent speed and real value for money (comparing to the others), hope it stay that way

IMHO you're better off with any other service provider, myself and many other people have had bad service from WA, they'll come onto the forum and act like heroes when someone complains here but when you actually have a problem and not post it on MyBB it's totally ignored.
 
Clearly, 100% satisfied customers from any ISP doesnt happen in SA or for that matter, the world!

You will get the odd person out who has had bad service from WA, Axxess or Openweb. I must say I have had the best service from Axxess out of all the ISP's I have tried. On the other hand I phoned Keoma so often, he knew who I was and greeted me by name!

Now I have stated before that Keoma is a stand up chap, but being an awesome person does not equal satisfactory service which is what I sadly received from Openweb.
 
Openweb client myself and have been very happy with the service. Have only needed to contact them once, and the problem was sorted out in less than an hour.
 
Bought the founders special and it worked fine for the first few days, even compimented openweb, big mistake no international, just local. Because they did not have a support line after hours I'm farked. Thanks openweb

Recently My account details have not shown on Openweb so they cut me off. But the bank still pay's them monthly, So I phone them and told them that I am still paying for their services and they should reopen my acc or otherwise... :mad: I even Had transaction slips to prove that may payments are still going through on a monthly basis..

Anyhoo.. they gave me a new account.. but the name of the account is not even listed as the access details... it's totally new.. I'm thinking they either don't have more account for space and are using other types to run their business?

The last time I called them to reactivate my account they said I wasn't even listed on their customer data base? But, my payments are still going through... :mad:

I've been on Openweb for over 2 years..never had the slightest problem..Mr B and his staff are cool....(I am not related to mr B nor do I have a n interest in his business!)

I'm going to get the 30local+open browser for downloads on week ends and week times nbz server woot+ dota! ALL THAT FOR LESS THAN R300 if but only we can get a Open gaming proxy!
