No email response after paying them. No telephone contact, no nothing. Have the closed down? Its been like this for 3 days now...

I've heard many people having this same problem with them, though I've normally gotten replies to my emails in the past.

That's odd. I received a same-day reply to an e-mail sent two days ago.

Ok, openweb. Clearly you guys hate my guts. I'll take my business to webafrica.

You try calling them? Or emailing them again?

Ive emailed them so many times im probably on their spamfilter. Phoning them doesnt work. A nice automated message says their phone is off. Nah, they can go get knotted. I just want my money back now.

Weird, I always get really quick responses from them.

Peon, there are many of us. Go read my last post on ADSL Praise wall.
I deleted my account with them. When I deleted that account and I knew that I dont have to put up with their &^%^%$ , I knew i had opened a new chapter in my life :D

Anyways, read all the posts on Openweb. Shocking stuff.

I also get same day replies from them when ever I email them, usually within an hour or two.

Got an e-mail this morning from admin.

but having problems with my line speed right now.

Well arent all you guys special. Clearly im king nob for the month.

Maybe it could be that you are on their spam list? :D

Don't they have a ticket support system or online support like WebAfrica? :)

The problem with Openweb is they lure people in with great deals but then let them down with shockingly bad service.

I am pleasantly surprised with the service I get from Axxess, mainly because I don't have to phone them every 2 days.

Hey Peon

We love you, like we love all our clients :)

As Paul explained telephonically this morning, hopefully all is now sorted.

Please let me know.

Kind regards
MrBEEP

What a sarky answer. Well nevermind it takes all sorts. I was with openweb for a few years, had no problems for most of that time. However in the last 6 months it seems that they have forgotten what customer service is. The service would be very erratic and the last straw was when purchasing an extra account online with my CC, with the promise of instant activation as i had done in the past, only to find no activation. After two days, and many calls to the help line, better to call it a frustration line as in those two days i could not get through, and a number of emails i finally got connected. With only 6 days of the month left and two of those wasted as i wasnt able to connect, it left a bit of a sour taste, especially as there was no apology.

Anyway, with Axxess now, still a few hiccups, but streets ahead in customer service.

If you have nothing valuable to say, why say it?

I am happy with my openweb account, and love the fact that mrbeep is always on hand to assist.

The website clearly shows which accounts are for instant activation and which aren't. Need new glasses?
