There's a problem with one of the switches affecting voice and data in mostly the Cpt CBD.

I had about 20 people crap on my head cos their PDA's cant get signal ... after battling to make sense of it i read this thread ...

Just make sure u can get 3G, so if something does go wrong u can quickly warn everyone else

BTW, looked at MTN, pricing is damn good, but no 3G coverage in my area, while I do get VC 3G. Looks like I have to stay with the 'beast' for now.

What does that mean? Is it something different to what happened last time when it was something to do with Cell C's network still using VC's infrastructure?

It was a hardware problem on one of the central systems.
Just saw there's now a NEW problem in Cpt affecting two towers. Symtoms might be the same.
