With this kind of logic there is no hope for SA anymore. The Premier of Kwazulu-Natal has no clue what it is all about. Once again hate speech.

Durban. - Dit is die onderdrukkers van swart mense wat agter die vlaag van geweld teen buitelanders in Suid-Afrika sit.
Só het premier S’bu Ndebele van KwaZulu-Natal gister aangevoer toe hy ’n veldtog bekend gestel het om Afrika se diversiteit te vier.
“Dit is die onderdrukkers wat vir mense wysmaak dat Mosambiekers ons vyande is,” het Ndebele by die bekendstelling van die Love for Africa-veldtog gesê.
“Sê vir hierdie mense wat deur ons onderdukkers gestuur is, hulle kan ons net onderdruk as ons verdeeld is,” het hy voorts gesê.
Ndebele wou weet waarom net swart mense van Afrika-state in die vlaag van geweld en intimidasie as buitelanders gebrandmerk word. “Niemand hier sê dat ’n wit Engelsman, Duitser of Portugees ’n buitelander is nie.
“Niemand het ooit gesê dat dit maklik gaan wees om demokrasie in die Suider-Afrikaanse Ontwikkelingsgemeenskap te vestig nie. Ons vyande rus nie.
“Nie een van julle behoort in ’n bus te klim om terug te gaan na jul land van herkoms nie,” het Ndebele gesê.
Dié uitsprake kom nadat Ndebele en mnr. Bheki Cele, LUR vir gemeenskapsveiligheid en -s***eling, verlede week die skuld vir een van die eerste aanvalle op buitelanders in die stad op die IVP gepak het.
Misdadigers het toe en sedertdien ook die skuld vir die geweldvlaag gekry.
Ofskoon slegs buitelanders in daardie aanval in die Durbanse buurt Umbilo uitgesonder en gemaan is om pad te gee, het Ndebele en Cele voet by stuk gehou xenofobie het geen rol in die geweld gespeel nie.
Eergister het Ndebele gesê dit is nie in die aard van Suid-Afrikaners om xenofobies te wees nie en dat dit ondenkbaar is dat die geweld spontaan uitgebreek het.
Die bekendstelling van die Love for Africa-veldtog het musiekgroepe en kultuurvertonings van verskillende Afrika-state ingesluit, asook ’n sokkerwedstryd tussen beroep- spelers van Suid-Afrika en ander lande wat aan KwaZulu-Natalse klubs verbonde is.
Onder die toeskouers was buitelanders wat die afgelope week by die Cato Manor-polisiekantoor gaan skuiling soek het toe die geweld na dié provinsie uitgebrei het.
Al het die sokkerspanne in rooi en blou truie met die woorde “Africa United” daarop gespeel, was die kennis oor die vlae van Afrika gebrekkig.
Niemand het eens opgemerk dat die vlag van die Ivoorkus onderstebo gedra is in die optog nie.

The KZN premier is saying that the xenophobic violence is the fault of the oppressors of the black people (Apartheid regime?). The oppressors are teaching black South Africans that Mozambicans are the enemy.

Why is it that only the people from other African states are branded as foreigners, and not the English, German or Portuguese?

He also says that it's not the nature of the SA people to be xenophobic and it's unthinkable that the violence broke out spontaneously.

These jokers are in a total flatspin right now. They have now idea of where to begin sorting out this mess. Desperate utterances from all quarters and wild theories merely highlight the panic they are in. These tribes have been knocking the cr@p out of each other for centuries, it's what they do best. Now every second ad on TV is a warm fuzzy propaganda blurb desperately trying to convey a sense of 'brotherly love' they have for each other. So thin and insincere that you can shoot peas through it. The reason for this inevitable 'outbreak' is the fact that this 'country' no longer has any borders. If you have no borders, you have no State or Country. You are simply a thoroughfare and when those who enter have no official status because the 'government can't control or cope with the influx you have chaos. If you have no borders or State, your laws are meaningless, and with no meaningful laws you have anarchy.

The rural africans were allways prone to this - they are ethnically mixed and removed from their own people or culture.
Back in the 70's with the homelands - this did not happen there where the same ethnic group lived on their land and controlled their own people etc etc (at least to some extent).
Ironically - people convicted by the sap then pleaded to stay in sap custody as opposed to being "deported" to their homeland police. Makes you think:mad:

How can this idiot say SA people are not Xenophobic when the people of Southern Africa have been killing each other in tribal wars for hundreds of years?

Was Shaka, The Boers and the English not Xenophobes?

Cultural, religious and ethnic wars have been raging around the world for as long as man has walked this green earth. They just didn't have a fancy word for it.
