Have questions regarding vodacom vpn

Hi, a friend of mine is going on holiday but wants to be able to remote connect to his computer at his office from his latop.
His main pc uses a vodacom 3g card and his laptop uses his 3g compatable phone.
Now i know that the main computer must be registered and use unrestricted APN, but my question is, does the laptop also haveto be using unrestricted apn or can is still use internet apn???
My friend wants to connect to his pc by using a vpn.

Only the PC that requiMres the incoming connection must be on the unrestricted apn, in this case the office machine.

Depending on the vpn client, he can use the internet or internetvpn apn on the laptop.
