I've been having this weird issue for as long as I know. Whenever I start a lot of games the first time it does what appears to be nothing then it only starts the second time. So a few days ago I notice that in addition to starting a copy of the game with almost no memory or resource footprint it also starts up rundll32. Except there's already a rundll32 loaded and this one is shown as "rundll32.exe *32".
I know what the process does but I'm wondering why it only starts up with the game and why the game then does not load. Any game I start after this runs fine and I can also kill the first process of the game with no issues. But if I kill the second rundll32 process it does the whole procedure again.
