You guys just spoiled Monopoly for me. Will not be able to enjoy it ever again. Monopoly just got cancelled.

It can be used as a ticket. The use case is more for after the fact as a collectable. You keep your ticket NFT as memorabilia. Mostly like stamp collecting, just digital.

All things that technology from 1000 years ago can already do, but a new way of doing it

Same-same but different.
 
NFT = attaching a "certificate of authenticity" to something that exists as a file on their machine and can be reproduced easily by copying.

That's about the same as attaching value to each and every bowel movement, as identical as they may be

Musicians are releasing limited NFT collections, offering VIP access and free/discounted access to their events for life.

This kind of thing isn't really viable outside America yet though. It's still too early imo.

Little red-pill for ya. Anything marketed to be "collectable" is a scam.

You are paying a premium on a mass-produced good that you have no idea of its future value.

Its silly calling it a scam. Ppl hype it up etc but at the end of the day economics still come into play.

WILLING BUYER WILLING SELLER.

Whether you like it or not doesnt matter.

People pay silly amounts for art, beanie babies, baseball cards, stamps, whether it has a use case or not whether it can be "copied" or not hell art stamps etc all can be forged.

Calling above scam doesnt change anything.

At the end of the day if no one buys it, it simply doesnt get sold.

I have a rock there on the floor if someone wants to buy it for a few million calling it a scam doesnt change the fact that someone has placed that value on it.
