I might have looked a bit unwell. I was homeless( which they did not know) very stressed, very skinny and did not sleep well. I was cleaning glass one day and stupidly said the spirits smells good. And I was fired.

I swear It was a stupid remark. I think petrol also smells good, it does not mean I sniff it!

But like I said I was young and stupid and they got away with it.

lol, most definately. i agree, i got fired once was working for my dad at that time and figured i was working way too hard and deserved a bit more than what this other goon was getting (almost twice as much), so i confronted my dad and yup he fired me on teh spot, even took the car the company bought me. Best career move though, dont regret it

kind of. I had quit, but was told i would have been fired anyways.
It was a bar / hotel job in scotland. The assistant manager was a moron, and the gas / chilling process on the kegs was screwed. About 10 - 15 draughts a keg at least was wasted due to foam etc...I got blamed because stock didnt match the cash (IE they said i was stealing). Even though the assistant manager wasted on more than one occassionbottles of whiskey costing over 200 pounds each....

I've been in so many jobs in my life...been fired, quit, the works. You just learn that sometimes it's your fault, sometimes it isn't, all you do is like DJ take it on the chin and move on.
Once I was working as a lorry driver assistant in the UK. The driver parked wrongly at a store, and an old lady took exception to him. They had an exchange of words, he told her to **** herself. The next day he didn't pitch. When I called the agency they told me I was fired for telling an elderly lady to **** off. I spent the next few weeks trying to find the guy.

I thought gouvernment jobs very cushy and had nice benefits.... Well most of them in any case.

Never been fired, well not yet

But I have only had 6 Jobs of which 3 were student jobs (overseas & locally).

I consulted my lawyer and drafted them a nice note. That wen't down like a led balloon. They didn't like that one little bit.

Thats when the proceeded to try make my life miserable, with which I packed my bag and walked out.

Anyway... Oke came in to buy a PC, and I told him Mecer was k@k, that they use k@k components and that he mustnt touch it with a very looooong pole.

the Mecer oke pipped me out and I got fired lol

But at my first job the manager really disliked me and I had a hearing for 4 charges. I didn't think a hearing was so formal until that point :/ Anyway - guily on 2 and not guilty on the other two ... resigned a month later
