Sport uv resistant sleeves and a phone cover. What did you order?
Will keep and eye on this as wellHmmm... the first time I ordered from Temu I used my cheque card (FNB). Subsequent purchases were on my virtual card.
The interesting thing is that I never had any charges attached to my cheque card purchases, but suddenly, after the virtual card purchases, FNB has charged me international purchase fees totalling about R10. They were bits of R4 here, R1 there and the odd R0.34 here and there.
Anybody experiencing this?

Is it the 2.5% like when you get charged for Spotify and netflix?(Fnb)The charges started about a year ago. International payment fees.
All banks, iirc, charge this fee.
I am currently charged on a product I have from the UK on a monthly basis, that did start last year, I agree. The charges started about a year ago. International payment fees.

Isn't that just for withdrawing money? I use Paypal + Capitec a lot to buy from overseas.Capitec have not supported PayPal for some time, so for sellers who do not accept non-US credit or debit cards, you can open a Forex account at FNB
I have bought stuff from Parts Express in USA. They send a Pro-Forma invoice and I pay using FNB Forex. The fees are minimal and there is no discount for the seller as PayPal charge
I also have a Customs Import code which is essential if you are going to have more than 3 imports a year
Another chrisc story lol.Isn't that just for withdrawing money? I use Paypal + Capitec a lot to buy from overseas.
Would love to know how to work out the taxes..my order was R249 with R64 for TT ax and dutiesSo did my first order, just bit over R1600 and just got message to pay R143 tax and duties.
WTF do you use them for?I ordered like 1000 M3 screws in various sizes off Temu last night
Local guys just don't stock these and when they do they only have them in 1 or 2 sizes.
They do. Boltfast, topfast etc. sell those sizes in quantity.I ordered like 1000 M3 screws in various sizes off Temu last night

Boltfast doesn't have any online store, so no way I was going to find them online. They do. Boltfast, topfast etc. sell those sizes in quantity.
It's for 3D printing projects, it worked out a lot cheaper buying sets of 50 or 100 than getting them individually.WTF do you use them for?I mean I googled to know exactly what these are for and these seem to be used in bar stool chairs etc and I have replaced 2-3 of them but 1000 ?
Actually just found a place in Cape Town when using a specific search term and they actually have all the size I was looking for and similar pricing / slightly cheaper to Temu (though these are not SS, which is fine in most cirumstances):They do. Boltfast, topfast etc. sell those sizes in quantity.
