It does seem that the commentators on MyBB does have a modicum of brain damage when reading posts.

The word I used (Hesitant) was used because words do have meaning.
That word was used for good reasons and it is common sense that given the available information that one would be cautious.

If you read the Snopes (who is highly regarded by people with common sense) article, then you would have seen the dubious practices of the Parent Company and their developers in the past.

You might have even fond this at the end of that Snopes article - if you are one of those who suffer from ADHD

"On the other hand, the methods Temu's parent company uses, including its open disregard for privacy regulation and its desire to cheat its competition and harvest personal data for profit, are extremely concerning to U.S. security regulators. While there is presently no evidence that Temu itself is malware, the corporate history and business ethics of PDD Holdings makes these concerns legitimate, as well."

If that doesn't make one hesitant, thus to use common sense in order to be safe online, then you must be living in a parallel world.

Good grief. Seems that comprehension by readers on MyBB has drastically gone down recently.

My word how much money are temu spending on google?!

I can’t search for anything anymore and a whole bunch of Temu ads come up. I even tried forcing South African stores and site:co.za and I get more Temu responses…

Temu spent R26 billion on ads/marketing last year..

I got this SMS this morning:
"Your parcel has been dispatched and will be delivered within 48 hours. Thank you for using Buffalo. Please note no fees are outstanding."
So Buffalo delivers on Saturdays?
Did they not charge any vat or duties?
They do seem to deliver after hours and weekends, the guy that did my Buffalo delivery was in an unmarked bakkie and did appear to be a driver not regularly employed as a courier.

No, I paid the duties while the parcel was still on the way to SA

I ordered with temu for the first time on the 13th march and on the 16th march i was notified to pay my customs duty. My order was for R672 and my customs duty came to R353.64 which is more than 50% of the amount i bought for. Anyways i still paid it because it would be the same price or more with me spending money on petrol and going around to different places looking for those things i wanted.
