facebook ad got me R800 off first order,and evertime ive followed a facebook ad i can spin the wheel anything from 24 % to 50 % off basket .
 
Tip, if you check your order status on TEMU regularly, might as well check the page for the "Price Adjustment" button. I've been refunded 11% of my order back already. Seems you can do so as many times as you like and you get refunded the difference if items have dropped in price within 30 days.

I literally just did one 5 minutes after paying. 10% back. 15 minutes later prices go up :)
 
Saw the comments here about the price adjustment, got about 15% off, thanks gents XD
 
It seems like the Temu app is becoming like a sneaky mind-bending app designed to give rookie South African shoppers a euphoric shopping experience and convincing them to splurge on worthless bargains... until whoopsie-daisy, they conveniently forget about the dreaded customs tax! :)

I was hesitant to order off Temu at first for exactly this reason, until I did a comparison and even if customs wacked me with 50% on my order the particular items I was looking for still worked out cheaper than anything I could source locally. It really depends on what you order, but yeah customs is always something to keep in mind.

Mine took 3 days from the "parcel scanned at branch" message.
 
Meh, my second order seems to have gone missing.

Logged a issue on Temu to reship and they partially refunded and will reship some of the smaller items.

I guess SARS is getting double VAT from me for this one.

at which point did it go missing, or where did tracking end?

Clothing, automotive, beef, chicken etc products to name a few can be up to 40% duties + 15% VAT.

Govt killed off most of those industries so they really shouldn’t be charging import on a lot of it…

I got a call that they will deliver and it was marked as deliverd mid day. But I was home at the time and nothing was delivered.
