Have you used source control with vb6?

Have any of you used source control for vb6, there's more than one programmer and it's getting tiresome having to make copy & paste changes on the main program when there are lots of changes at different places.

I'll look at that then, it's necessary now that we're two programmers in the company.
The project is a pos-type project, installed on multiple computers and a central database, if that helps.

Just about anything is better than SourceSafe ...

Subversion - in its different install variants - is probably the most-used VCS around.

With TortoiseSVN it's an unbeatable combination.

NB: Subversion comes with a free book. If you install Subversion use the standard directory structure. Not only does the structure work well it is also used for all articles on Subversion.

and then never use sourcesafe ever again. Subversion and TortoiseSVN is a free and much better alternative.

Yes your .frm files are just text based.

Ok thanks, I've used source gear vault with .net b4 and it worked nice, will try subversion+tortoisesvn.
