Hey All

2 weeks ago i upgraded my PC, got Windows vista x64 etc etc..

i only got a chance to test out my rigs gaming performance today because of work and stuff, so i went out to go buy Mass Effect.

when i opened and installed the game I was a little shocked to see quite a low frame rate during the in-game cinematics (i would estimate about 20 odd FPS)

so my problem now is that maybe my hardware's drivers are old or something so i updated all my drivers up to the latest (my bios, gfx card drivers)

I re-ran Mass Effect then I noticed no diffrence at all. so im wondering whats wrong. All my hardware is running at normal temperature and its basically brand new

My windows Gaming & Graphics experience index score is 4.4 is that low?

my computers stats can be found below in my signature.

does anyone know what might be wrong??

Check in your gfx cards utility, or the gfx program and just make sure that you haven't gotten AA and AF on.
OR check if you haven't gotten AA on greater then X4

ummm i doubt your having performance issues, drop the settings down a bit

mass effect is heavy on vga cards and as scotty says running with AA would kill your card and running that game on high a 9800gtx will also slow it down
