cool man, I want to try that sometime but I still can't get the slow shutter speed thingy right.
maybe I can help whats wrong?
Wayne,
See pages 40-43 of your manual for shutter & aperture settings. Use the values in some the links above and set them in your camera, you will have to play around a bit with the values.
I took this picture last night, I was hoping I would get the red light moving across the screen, if you know what I am trying to say.
From your photo it looks like that LED is flashing, so it may be tricky to get it to form a solid line. (you can try looking at it from the corner of your eye, or while moving your head, to check if it is flickering.)
To slow down your shutter speed, turn off the camera's flash, and dim the lights. you will have to rest the camera on something, preferably a tripod.
You may be right, I think it is flashing as the arm swings back and forth. I think I have a tripod here somewhere because when I tried to hold it still in my hand the pictures were really bad.
Thanks man.
If possible you should shoot full res and then resize as necessary later.ok on that LED one above we have the following.
IS0 400
F.No 3.2
SHUTTER 1/15
FLASH ON
PHOTO SIZE 1024X768
