yes...an R8000 3D card is nothing to worry about - if it breaks, i'll just buy another one, no problem!!

When did you start thinking this to yourself. Have you read reviews at all? Are you telling me you just decided to buy a card called 4870X2 without properly researching it? Have you ever read anything that would lead you to believe that ATI released cards without testing them first? Apart from a fan ceasing to operate and the user not noticing, and the card then overheats and breaks, not even jst shutting off at a certain temp cut-off point..?
Now, honestly, I'm not trying to be harsh, and I would understand your reasoning if there was actually something that gave you reasonable cause to worry. But there is none.
