I just exchanged my HD PVR because the DD sound is just producing a very intermittent choppy sound, the new one has the same problem. The SD PVR DD works fine on MM1 as does my DVD player, it is not a amp/cable problem. Normal stereo also works perfect on the digital output, but as soon as you change soundtrack to Surround it goes to hell. Something very strange I've notice is when I have the amp's (HK 630) on screen display active (replaces image with blue background amp settings screen), the sound is much less choppy, but still intermittent, don't know if that means anything.
Advise/Ideas please.
