HDCP 15 Error on Dstv Pvr 2P Decoder

Hi -My Dstv pvr P2 decoder works fine on a Hdmi input to my flat screen tv but when I switch the tv off the decoder displays the error Hdcp 15 :erm: Anbody else experiencing this sort of issue

So why worry if the TV is off?

HDCP is handshake based so the PVR is just a bit stupid in not realising the TV is no longer on and therefore can't shake it's hand.

If it's working when the TV is on then it's nothing to worry about.

ya its stupid - ITs more of an issue if you have a secondary tv on RF
