HDD Problem

Hi guys dont know if I should be posting this in the hardware or software page but here goes

My pc has two 1 TB HDDS

HDD 1:Its is partitioned 120 gigs is for the operating system the rest for storage of media files.
HDD 2: Also used for storage of media files

About twe weeks ago the second HDD drives stopped showing in the my computer window ,I tried a restart no luck I then opened up the pc swopped the SATA ports and it worked.

Now the first HDD (HDD 1) is showing the os is botting it is showing the partition perfectly except it is not showing the media partion of this drive

What do you think is the problem maybe a virus .I was downloading torrents over night the next morning it was not working on both occasions.

If they are both Seagate 1TB drives, then you should upgrade the firmware if it's not too late already.

Im glad to know its not only me with the problem. Tremayn its definetly not a virus, its the drive itself.

Yeah the one that is giving the problems is the seagate the other is a samsung

What should I do?

As mentioned above, you will need to upgrade the firmware.
