Are you able to 'link' two drives under one driver letter - basically the reverse of partioning?

I've got a 500GB so far and want to get another soon - was wondering if I get 1TB as my C: ?

Also - is a 320GB IDE drive actually worth selilng?

Oops - wrong section :(

Can a mod move this please?

Yes, you can by using RAID0 :)

You do run the risk of losing all of your data if one fails, though, because you are striping data across multiple disks.

i`m sure you can just mount your drive into an ntfs folder. cant test it here because my work hdd's are formatted in fat.
system tools -> computer management -> disk management -> right click on drive -> change drive letters and paths

I'm installating my SATA today - but now the guy at work got me wonderinh about power :( He asked if I have power - and I said 'yes' ... but when I told him it was a little plastic block going into my DVD and my IDE HDD - he said it was wrong.

How do I get power to a SATA then?

Buy one of these if your PSU does not have them already:

I think you can actually do it without RAID, or Partition Magic... I think Windows can do it natively.

But I can't remember how, exactly.. Look it up in Windows help.

Without PM (or something similar), you'd have to reformat the first drive.
