Hdmi audio

That one doesn't support cec. In fact it doesn't even support audio for hdmi.HDMI In/Out
3/1 (Switcher type)
So case closed, can't use it for audio through hdmi
It appears as if that Sony amp is circa 2009 (according to the copyright on the front cover of the manual) and it only seems to support Dolby Digital & DTS digital audio & Dolby ProLogic analogue surround sound - and its connections at the back are designed for mostly obsolete analogue audio / video equipment connections via RCA jacks.

Looks like it's time to upgrade it to a much newer model that supports both HDMI-CEC and Dolby Digital audio via HDMI... ;)

Might not be a lost case.

If your TV support Optical you could hook the Amp up to the TV with that and then run HMDI from the PC to TV.

Which will then still give you audio and video over HDMI.
That is the way to do it :) basically ARC before ARC

Good chance it will only be stereo, but maybe HiSense plays nice there…if it even had optical.

Better than nothing.
All the ones I've got have had optical and sent dolby at least

For anyone struggling with connecting Audio & Video components, this YT channel may be of some assistance for you in resolving any of your connectivity issues with your various AV equipment...
