I am trying to connect my PC to the tv,all it shows is no signal on all HDMI ports

Did you "hot-plug" (ie HDMI cable powered when plugging in)? In theory you should be able to, but not all devices are hot-plug protected. Always disconnect power to devices on either end before plugging in HDMI cables unless you are sure both are hot-plug protected.
