HDMI Splitter?

Ok so I want ^
Im in Jhb and I see avsupply is a CT co. How much is it going to cost me to get it shipped up here?

R21.50 according to their site. You might as well throw in some HDMI cables while you there because it's R21.50 for up to a Kilogram

Good luck

I [finally] picked up my package on Friday the 24th :D I know, I know... You guys shipped on the 16th (Thursday) and it was ready for collection on the 20th (Monday). I didn't expect it to arrive so quickly :o

Initially I thought you guys sent the wrong item because the box was so um... small :erm: I wasn't expecting the HDMI Switch to be that small. I hooked it up later that evening up and everything ...just worked :) It's definitely compatible with the DStv HD PVR (which was my main concern).

The Mini HDMI to HDMI Adapter also works very well.

Thanks again for your prompt and efficient service. I'll definitely be recommending you guys!

:)

Awesome stuff! :D

Thanks so much for providing feedback

Hi All

I recently added a 3D BD Home Theatre to my setup and needed flexibility to have all content shown on two TVs (Lounge where all equipment is and bedroom). Both rooms have Samsung EH6030 3d TVs in different sizes (55 and 40).

I bought the following 4x2 powered matrix in this link from AVSupply and it works like a charm. http://www.avsupply.co.za/product_reviews.php/4x2-hdmi-matrix-switch-splitter-powered-pr-327

Simple but great product - does exactly what it says it does with 3D support!

I am using to split 3 devices (HDPVR, PS3 and HomeTheatre) to two rooms (Lounge and via a 20m HD cable to the bedroom 3DLED) and it works well for all combinations (Watch different/ watch same content on the TVs) including 3D on both TVs.

I previously was using a 1to3 powered splitter to split HDPVR to the two TVs, but I have now put the 4x2 Matrix in series after the 1to3 and it works perfectly (I wanted to keep HDMI1 in the Lounge linked to HDPVR as it is the most used HD device and didn't want to have to "switch" on the Matrix to get to dstv. HDMI2 can then switch between PS3 and HomeTheatre).

There was once or twice a green shading on the PVR picture, but a quick switch between a normal RF channel and then back to HDMI1 got the picture back up an running perfectly.

Great service from AVSupply who kept me up to date on the status of the supplier shipping and then my own delivery from CT to JHB. Will definitely use AVSupply again.

Does anyone know a shop in Durban that stocks the 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch?

Hi erickza,

It's only R21.50 to ship a 4x2 Matrix from Cape Town to Durban and normally takes about 5 business days to get to your nearest post office
