HDMI to DVI converter

Hi Guys ,I'm looking for a place that sells a HDMI(male) to DVI(female) converter or maybe an average price?

Would be very much appreciated.

Are you trying to connect a screen with DVI input to a graphics card with HDMI output? If you are, then you can just get an HDMI to DVI cable - like this: http://zaponline.co.za/zapsonlineco...sunix-dthgp1m-dvi-to-hdmi-cable-fca-sdh1.html

Thanks allot guys ...Pada , that's exactly what I'm looking for just need to find a store in Southern suburbs Capetown which sells them haha, gonna be hard to beat 72 bucks though.

That option does not always work. It could work on a screen with an DVI input that faces backwards, but not with one facing downwards.
Like it did not work with my Samsung SyncMaster 2333 screen which has a downwards facing DVI input, due to the space being too limited for the HDMI-DVI adapter + HDMI cable.

Hi Moose,

I don't know about Retreat/Tokai, but when I needed audio cabling and adapters for my ps3, I actually got what I need from Computer Mania in Cavendish. One of the sales guys had to dig a bit, but eventually managed to put together what I need. Maybe give them a call?
