HDPVR,Pause, foward,etc

Hey guys

Lately I have been frustrated to the neck with my HD PVR, I don't know if its the remote or the decoder or even the software.When I pause it normally works fine and when I forward it sometimes gets stuck and keeps forwarding even if I dont touch the remote and it would just stop at a random place.Then when I try to rewind a show it sometimes skips everything and just stars the show over, lets say I am watching real tv for the pass 2 hours now and I and to rewind just 2min and I flick and hold it to the rewind on the remote it would just skip everything and rewind the hole 2 hours of content,

Has anyone experience the same problems

I got another remote control when I installed another TV via the RF out.

This is one looks just like the DSTV PVR remote, but instead of green lights, it's orange. One BIG plus point of this remote is that the Pause / Play button is one button. Then there are two separate buttons for forward and rewind.

I think the remote with the joystick thingy is a p.o.s and this "new" remote works like a charm. I haven't had one instance when it forwards too much or rewinds too much etc.

So today I was watching cricket , Morne got a wicked and I just missed it.So I used the backward button and then hit pause (from hitting pause till the tv stop rewinding takes about 3 sec(pissed me off) ok then I hit play watched the wicked but wanted to freeze a moment, when I hit pause it took 9 sec before the bloody thing paused. So after that I was really pissed at the pvr remote... but I had my dvd player setup using the remote of my dstv... so wap turn on dvd player :wtf:everything worked fine. Pause rewind fast forward,if u hit the button in works fine on the dvd player


Now would some one please hack the bloody software on the decoder and fix it
