As headlights get old / on old cars i notice its got this weird fog like look on it and is not clear(i think this happens with the plastic), can it be cleaned or must it be changed completely? Just kinda curious

yea, insides can't be fixed.. Thing is its like a layer of grim stuck on it from the outside that you can actually feel. The whole sanding it off process is scary and i don't think i'd do that :s Gonna see if there is something at an autoshop.

U can look at the replies from some of them they use some other stuff maybe that's worth a try and tell us if it works.

Is your car a VW or Audi? My Father had this on his Audi and Audi told him there's nothing they can do about it. There is another thread her about it if memory serves.

Nope, honda.. based on what i have read and knowing history of car before i got it etc i am thinking it happens when you park your car outside in the sun a lot.

Oh btw you can 'fix' it :D Basically you remove the headlight and get someone you use a buffer/polisher (for when they finishing up paint/bodywork on cars) to do it for you.

Cleans it up and nearly as good as new :) Just incase you wondering how to do it!
