Yeah, they Audi ones. There is no other car than a BMW that will make Angel Eyes look kewl

The first one looks nice on and off.
But the second one looks the best off but I dont like it when they on...

Might go the Audi route, but I foresee these lights being readily available to everyone soon.... saw some being fitted to a Fiat:sick:

I was in Durban on Saturday morning, got back in the evening.

I was driving in a rental somewhere in town when I could hear this massive BOOM BOOM coming from a car. The rental started shaking and I was looking around for this little boom box that sounded as if it was standing next to me.

Low and behold, about 6 seconds after the rental started shaking from the bass a TAXI ! came driving past the robot in the opposite direction

So by a guess I would assume the Taxi was still a good Block away when I started feeling the bass in the rental. Now HTF does it sound inside that Taxi ? :D

No man keep your Deben stories for another thread....
Eish I wish Toyota will bring back the Tazz so these okes can leave VW to us JHB guys!! Grrrrr

Good god man... how about: THE FREAKIN HEADLIGHTS THAT CAME ON THE DAMN CAR!!!!

Seriously though: none of them. Some aftermarket stuff manages not to look totally ridiculous... none of the ones you linked achieve that.

I'd use the first set.

...and I would put blue neon lights under the the car :p

Regardless of any technicality that you might try to refute the following statement with: that is no different to fitting them on a Polo, none at all.

I guess im just using whats available on the market...
I wouldnt mind some Audi style lights, I do think it can be better designed. I really want "white/blue" lights. Fitting on a HID kit on my lights will mean to open my headlights and fit them... as per VW these lights are R2000 each. So in the future if I want my old lights back I can just refit them and use these aftermarket lights to fit HIDs on...
I also think there will be a new law in future about these HID lights cause it is causing a problem, if they outlaw it ill have to use my OEM headlights...

And theres silver.... but thats gonna take away the "gti look"

I don't see why HID's would cause a problem if they are correctly focused. The problem is that people don't care where their lights are pointing. The laws around lights govern where they point and their colour.

The Audi-style LED lights are great for visibility, but if those aftermarket ones don't use LEDs they won't be as handy.

As long as they don't blind me for no reason, I don't really care.

Those are really fat and bloated headlights... has the same characteristics of a man in his mid life crisis cruising through camps bay in a Polo GTi with his baldie catching a tan through the sunroof...

What you need is a pair of these sleek and aggressive babies :

Oh, and obviously the car they fit to :p
