headphones for a big head

Hi,

Need some advice for headphones. I have a pretty big head and my current headphones tend to really hurt my head after a while.

(i have tried and gone through many headphones.
I currently have the these "Plantronics Gamecom 777 PC Headset - USB" but these are also too tight)

I was looking at the Tritton series, Turtle Beach series etc. I DON'T need a mic as i don't ever play games that need it.

I'm looking for something that will fit comfortably without trying to squeeze my brains out of my nose.


Any ideas?

Either something i can get from kalahari or www.wantitall.co.za

I've also got a biggish head. I've had 2 previous headsets fail on me, one no-name-brand and one corsair. I recently got one of the basic Plantronics headsets and I couldn't be happier. Good sound cancelling, comfortable for long gaming sessions and best of all they're made for people with mutant size heads. Got mine for about R550. Will check model when I'm back home if you're interested, but I don't think it makes a huge dif, since they're not always that easy to find, so you may have to take what you can get.
 
My mate and me have the biggest heads we know, we both use Roccat Kave 5.1 headphones, very comfortable IMO.
 
Maybe it would be easier to address your head, and not the headphones. Just saying :D

Just a quick question. Does anyone out there use the Sennheisers PC 360? I like the HD555 but they are pretty pricey.
Want to keep around the 2k mark.
