So, I want to level a healer. Just looks like fun for some reason :p

Which healing class would be best healer/fun to play and easy to level?

Best healer with nice playing and DPS also, a druid hands down. They have the best HOTS in game.

Straight up healer either a Priest or a Pala.

More raid focused healing a Shaman.

But I would go for a Pala or a Shaman. You can level with a DPS spec and then just respec at lvl 62 or so.

But Druids are the best healers IMHO

Druid is quite fun..
I'm currently levelling a tauren..
level 32 :)
Feral of course (for now)

+1 There. If you spec Resto on either Druid or Shaman you have quite acceptable dps thanks to the new spellpower mechanic with the upside of being able to heal yourself constantly

If you are in a hurry then go feral as you are still able to heal at lower levels. Then at 70 go Resto and become THE HoT healer.

Ask Pit, I've kept his carcass alive often enough ... :D

Druids are really versatile when healing and the only downside is not having an aggro reduction spell (ie. Like Fade for priests).

I cannot comment any further as I haven't play around since the latest patch / talent release.

Kewls :D Thanks guys!

Was hoping Druid or Shaman :p Think I'll level a druid then :) Looks like more fun tbh

Sorry to derail, but im worried..
In Tree of Life form for a druid, can you only cast HoT spells?
Is that a viable source of healing for 5man/raid content?

Don't bother with shaman for healing. Priests will own the raidhealing in the xp.

My op, go priest. They are THE healing class, the only class in the game with 2 healing trees. If you wanna do something, do it properly.

And yeah, in ToL you can ONLY cast hots and i think decurse/depoison(it's been almost a year since i've played on my drood, and much as changed, so take this with a pinch of salt). But then again the only non-HoT heal that a druid has, is Healing Touch. Which is terrible. Healing 5mans as a tree works fine as long as you keep those lifeblooms rolling, and your emergency 'flat' heal simply becomes Regrowth rather than HT. With Regr. and effective Swiftmending Rejuv's you can MT heal just fine. Unf terribad restos who just mash their LB button and nothing else have given the spec a bad name for tank healing.
As a raid healer, all you'll do is sit around in treeform playing lifebloom whackamole, though.

Don't listen to those pimping hybrid healers. Their time is over.
Priests are going to be *it*. Just take my word for it. They've already knocked resto shammies off the #1 raidhealer perch.

Lifebloom, Regrowth, Rejuvenation.

Add Natures Swiftness and Swiftmend and the healing jumps. Raidwise, I can keep up with priests and pala's np. Just note that my raid xp is limited tho.

Druids are pretty mana efficient too, I usually save innervate for the priest ...

As for 5man content, I found that it was tank dependant. With a weaker (tank gets hit too hard too soon) tank I would pull aggro a lot easier but that was countered with going bear and taking a few hits until the tank regained aggro.

It boils down to your healing style, but per me, nothing is nicer than being able to run around and still heal.

Well I hope so as that was the role a priest was supposed to have originally played. Not a raid with 5 priests and 3 of them are shadow....

And the Enchancement Shaman has been pushed up to the no1 DPS spot :D
Don't know how long into the expansion that will last but THEY ROCK HARD !

Well, maybe not #1, but apparently they're more or less running with the pack in beta. Well, Enhancement anyway. Last I checked Elemental were running with the tanks, lawl.
Not sure what role Resto will play in Wrath. Other classes will raid heal better, with better mana efficiency, and you don't want to stack them any more for buffs, so I envision the class becoming more dps oriented overall.

Maybe a druid is a good idea though. Bear's will tank as good as warriors, Balance will dps as good as mages and warlocks, and Trees will still toss the best hots. If you *have* to take a hybrid healer, a drood is probably the way to go.

Dont know if it is a bug , But you can cast Healing Touch in tree form at the moment. Came with 3.0.2

Haha, im sure that's not Working As Intended.
If so.. er... yeah. GG Blizz. May as well let trees pewpew moonfirelol while at it.
