No, not bars where you drink, but health bars as in health snacks :)

A lot of these are called 'health' bars, but contain a lot of sugar, etc.

So basically I am looking for a healthier recipe.

Anyone make these? Thanks.

Blunomore it all depends on what you want to use them for! High sugar is great for recover after an hour or threes worth of work out, but a low sugar one is better for general snacks.

You can also give MuleBars a go - they are the best but damn expensive.

To be used for healthy snacking - e.g. to replace chocolates or chips.

Then nothing beats homemade. Since I've taken up cycling to lose weight and get healthy I'm very conscious of what I eat when.

The honey in those muesli bars is all the sugar you need. Thats even a great snack for me to take on my mountain bike rides.

There are tons of good options online. But it all depends on what you want. Loads of alternatives - minimal sugar, sugar substitutes, protein-rich, hard, dense, crumbly, chewy, gluten-free, etc.
Would be easier to Google until you find an option you like (and test them out until you find the perfect one).

As healthy as possible.

I eat the Herbalife Meal replacement and Protein bars. Fairly new in SA. Taste great. You have to find a Herbalife person to buy them from though.
