So I've been thinking that if I died today or tomorrow I'd be fine with that.

I'm not depressed, which is what I reckon the bulk of the knee jerk responses would be. In fact I'm very happy with my day to day shuffle about town and life in general is great.

I have this feeling though that if there are lessons to learn before you move on I'm ready to roll onto the next class.

Happy Wednesday.

I "would" only feel sorry for those I leave behind.

Of course I'm not about to commit suicide. The life-force and will-to-live in me still flows strong. But if the inevitable and uncontrollable were to happen ... so be it.

Of course I'll be nervous. But maybe just with eager anticipation. For I'll finally meet God. If there is no God ... so be it. At least I've had my bases covered :D

Don't worry dude, you're not alone.:D I feel the same.

I said something similar a few months back in the philly section and upset some people a bit. They just couldn't understand how dying might not be negative or frightning. :p

Having almost died a couple of times the idea doesn't scare me anymore.

This is something we all think about and wonder.........That's why one must live each day as if it's your last day!

Geez, you guys sure know how to get a guy down. I was feelin great... until i read this post.

*guilty of standard knee-jerk reaction*

happy Thursday :D

Spent the day in George yesterday, it's amazing how different the pace is there compared to CT. It would almost be a good place to live.

I think I'd die of boredom living there. Great place to retire to though. Guess I'm just too used to CT.

mmm Dieing, i accept its gonna happen... But i'd rather stay here with my "bokkie" for as long as possible. Thing about death that bugs me is: I accept that energy never just disappears so you can kinda never die, but what bugs me is that i will lose me(my attitude my just plain me) that scares me though

Moved from CT here and its infact a good place to live, three problems though.. if fam is in CT its kinda far away. U just plain miss the CT ppl, ppl here are "different" kinda odd. Also not alot of employment opportunities and renumaration doesnt compare to cities, other than that nothing beats the beaches, forests and all these cool towns in one area.

What's there to do in Cape Town.

Mall, dancing, drinking ...

+ great restaurants, wine farms, the mountain, the beaches.

Can't stand the mall rats, I'd rather go to a pub than a club.

You can drink anywhere man. :D

You're colored, aren't you? :p
That's all most of my friends in CT do. Even suggesting anything outside of the normal routine, are met with blank stares.

I've got a friend who lived in CT all his life and doesn't know how to get Hout bay.

People in George are different in a nice way. If you greet someone you don't know in CT, they think you want something from them.

The flight only takes about 40 min, so not that "far" if you think about it.

Agree with you about the job opps tho. I'm in Engineering and made some good contacts. Will see if it pays off, maybe you don't have to emigrate to be happier.

I can't die now I have a awesome party in 2 weeks :p

Nha I actually feel there are some more things I would like to do before I pass on :)

+1 I also miss all the crazy coloureds
O and their "suped up" rides

Yes if you're like me and willing to give up some of the usual perks ur used to in CT. Might even make abit less moola but it stops being important once holiday season starts in this region its something i tell u;)

Sad thing is, I had a better 3G signal in George than at my place in CT. At least if I move to George, I'll still be connected.

Less moola won't matter if there's no places to spend it at anyway. :D

What do you mean about the the holiday season?
